At registration for the term, every Athens campus student is automatically enrolled for coverage under the legal insurance program provided by the Center for Student Legal Services. The $12 Student Legal Services Fee is optional and waivable, and the waiver option will be available on the student's "My OHIO Student Center" once the registration charges for the term have been assessed. Students have until 5:00PM on the third Friday of the term to waive the fee. Although CSLS advises very strongly against waiving the $12 SLS Fee, if a student decides that they do not wish to be covered under the legal insurance program, they must waive the fee by 5:00PM today in order to avoid being charged. If a student does not waive the fee before the end of the fee waiver deadline, CSLS will not waive the fee for them after the deadline has passed.
