Criminal Law
Criminal law is one of the two types of law. Criminal law involves committing an offense that is against a city, state or federal law. The least serious offenses are called misdemeanors. Misdemeanors are classified as MM – M4, or minor misdemeanor, misdemeanor in the first degree, misdemeanor in the second degree, misdemeanor in the third degree and misdemeanor in the fourth degree. M1 is the most serious and MM is the least serious.
