Criminal Citation Intake
If you are an Ohio University student enrolled in the current academic semester and received a criminal citation in Athens County, please fill out the form below to provide your personal contact information and information about your citation. Note: criminal citations include tickets (also called summons) received for criminal and traffic/driver’s license matters.
A representative from our office will respond to you within 48 business hours. Our office will provide eligible students with an agreement for our services and an invoice for our services (if applicable) that must be signed and/or paid prior to receiving representation from an attorney.
If your first court date (the “arraignment”) is scheduled to occur before our office can respond to you, please attend your arraignment to enter a “not guilty” plea. You will receive your new court date and should provide this to our office as well.
Completing this intake does not guarantee or confirm legal representation. Legal representation for eligible students will not be confirmed until an agreement for services has been signed and any applicable fees have been paid.
